Please be careful and don't withdraw money from most POS vendors, look at the reason why

 

The Point Of Sale machine also known as POS is a machine used for carrying out bank transactions.

Most people find it convenient because it saves them the stress of going to the bank and waiting in huge lines just to withdraw money.

Recently there are News of POS scam in many places, I'll show you how they scam people.

If you have finish your purchase and present your ATM card for payment once it shows "approved" they'll remove your card without allowing it to print out the receipt, hence the POS will revert to declined.

If you complain they'll tell you to contact your bank that they will reverse the payment and because that's the general expectation anybody nearby will join them in saying the same thing.

If you fall for that come and pay again your money is gone.

The bank merchants will reverse the money but not to your accounts, it goes to the vendors account. You just waste your time going back and forth between your bank and the vendor.

if your transaction shows declined and debit you, your money will be reversed to your account.

But if it first shows approved and then declined the money will be reversed to the vendors account and you won't get it back without a fight.

When you're done putting your pin hold the POS until it shows you "approved" and print the first receipt.

When you put your pin and they immediately asked you to give them the POS don't listen to them. Protect your money.
