How to check if your android is original or fake

 

Nowadays in the market there are so many cloned phones that look very much like the original. So many people have been tricked to buy a fake version of the original. Some cloned version are easily detected but most are almost perfect that only phone geeks geeks can detect them 

Note down your phone model number and model name

Step 1-Go to settings>About phone>status

Tap your Phone app, open up the dialer, dial*#06# to get your IMEI Number

Step 2-Two IMEI numbers will be displayed copy any of the two

Step 3- Open your browser, visit www.Imei.info

Step 4 - Input your IMEI Number in the box as seen below

Final Step - Go back to settings, compare the model name and number with the one displayed in site, if it's the same, your phone is original but if it doesn't match, your phone is probably not original (Fake)
