The South African Telecommunication network MTN has decided to give back to it users by giving it customers an opportunity to receive 1GB of data if they download an MTN app, this comes after an uproar earlier today in the morning on twitter where MTN users decided to mobilize themselves led Jan Potgieter where there was a hashtag No recharge for MTN.
South African internet users are complaining that data bundles are expensive and it is becoming impossible to work from home or to study from home since the situation now forces people to work remotely since there's things like COVID-19 where there's lockdown regulations. MTN rewards it customers with 1GB if you download an MTN app.
The new MTN app is zero-rated – that means it doesn’t use any data, freeing up those precious MB’s for the fun stuff!
What tweeps who received data bundles had to say
"I used the MTNAPP and got myself 1GB.
There's a promotion for MTN customers.
All you have to do is use the app, if you don't have it download it and get yours.
